While walking in Cannizaro Park, London, I encountered several texts both within and outside the premises. Some of the texts were inscribed on benches donated by families and organizations, often reading, “In loving memory of… this bench is placed…”
As I walked, I was taken aback by a sudden gush of emotions—memories, love, and longing. Every tree, turn, and pathway seemed to hold a different kind of communication, a silent dialogue with someone.
I decided to add my own texts as I moved through the park. Some are standalone planks, while others are responses to the surroundings. Then again, every text is ultimately a response to a certain visual imagery in front of me.
